Deburring of precise plastic molded parts using mass finishing
Vibratory finishing is versatile
The demands placed on the precision of plastic molded parts increasingly require reliable deburring for further use.
increasingly require process-reliable deburring.
Today, plastic injection molded parts (thermoplastics and thermosets with/without compound) can be easily deburred at tool parting lines or core pulls with our TE series disc finishing machines. Burrs created by a cutting tool can be gently removed from mechanically machined plastic components. The removal of release agents, fine grinding, honing and lapping burrs or the finest fibers is so easy to implement for a variety of complex components. As a rule, no additional chemicals are required when processing plastic. Grinding abrasion is kept to a minimum so as not to damage the surface of the molded parts.
The machine is available with container sizes from 6 to 60 liters. The small TE 6 HD disc finishing machine is also based on the technology of the larger systems and is designed as a tabletop machine with a small footprint. The large system with a container size of 60 liters is available as a relatively simple machine, in which only the mechanism for emptying is not manual, and as an automated version with separation of workpieces and media as well as return of the grinding media.
