Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machines
Workpieces and the grinding material are added loosely into a container which is open at the top and has a plate-shaped base which causes a torus-style tumbling effect. The centrifugal force flings the workpieces and the grinding elements against the stationary aerodynamic inner wall of the plate-based working bowl. In doing so, the workpieces and grinding elements perform a relative movement as a result of their different density. This dynamic flow enables high, targeted material erosion in very short processing times compared to vibrators or drums.

Workpieces and grinding media are put into motion in an open-topped trough. Due to imbalances the trough is set into short vibrations, which forces the mixture into spiral- and toroid-shaped motion. Finishing will be achieved by a relative movement of workpieces and grinding media caused by different specific gravity. Vibratory finishing systems are universal and can be used for a variety of workpieces and processing objectives that lead the drum and centrifugal disc systems to problems. Vibratory finishing systems are particularly suitable for the low-cost high-gloss polishing of sensitive workpieces. The applicability reaches from rough pre-grinding to an electroplating finish.
Separation of Workpieces and Abrasives
During the massfinishing process, the separation of workpieces and abrasives is an essential element and it is important to integrate into the whole process.

Process Water Treatment
A recycling of process water is desirable from economically as well as from environmentally view. In small installations, the 3-stage cascade has successfully been proved. For several or larger plants, cleaning centrifuges are able to separate the solid and liquid phases due to centrifugal forces efficiently.
